Live from Worthington Farmers Market Art Fest Day

Today is Art Fest day at the Worthington Farmers Market, which means the market is set up right beside one of the biggest events of the year in downtown Worthington. With perfect weather, 120 art vendors, and thousands of visitors expected throughout the day, this had the potential to be one of the heaviest foot traffic days we’ll see at this market. But as we’ve learned many times, a big crowd doesn’t always mean big produce sales. We started the morning at the farm, headed to Worthington, and followed along to see how the day actually unfolded — including a slower-than-expected first half of the morning and whether the Art Fest crowd eventually helped turn things around.
