800 cantaloupes, 6 farmers markets, and our biggest Saturday of 2025 — here’s the behind-the-scenes look at our busiest Saturday of the season so far. Starting at 4 AM, I loaded nearly 800 cantaloupes (part of our huge 1,000-melon harvest earlier in the week — watch that video here:    • Massive Melon Harvest! 1,000 Cantaloupes +...   along with everything else for our six Saturday morning markets. It was a marathon day — from early morning packing, hauling, and market setup, to meeting fans from Cincinnati, making emergency deliveries, and even working through an ankle injury. After 4 hours of loading and setting up, I finally sat down for coffee with my wife on her birthday… only to be called back out for a last-minute corn bag run. By the end of the day, we’d sold 650 cantaloupes, hit our biggest Saturday of 2025, and wrapped things up with a look at what happens to unsold produce — from donations to food banks, to composting it back into the soil.
