Our reference shows a landscape, a sunny summer day, a clear blue sky - houses with white walls. I will write this work on primed cardboard with oil paints. I made the initial drawing with a warm burnt sienna and immediately with a brush! After we have opened the sky, we can mark the lights on the houses, this will immediately show the volume and depth. Since our cardboard is not white but has some kind of tonality, it is quite easy to do this! We lay out all the objects into light and shadow, make such a simplified scheme and only then begin to deal with details and nuances! The technique is suitable for acrylic, tempera and gouache paints!
