"It's not a car, it's a spaceship." Eighteen years later, the definition still rings true when we talk about the eighth-generation Honda Civic, which became known as the New Civic. The midsize sedan was sold in Brazil between 2007 and 2012, winning over a legion of fans. The double-decker instrumentation was a game-changer for the Civic. Other cars already offered digital speedometers. This was the case, for example, with the Citroën C4 Pallas, but no other brand did it as well as Honda. The naturally aspirated 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine delivered 140 hp and 17.7 kgfm of torque. Initially, it ran exclusively on gasoline, but became a flex-fuel engine in 2008.
