Fresno FAX 2006 New Flyer C40LFR (0608) Full Ride

Those that live in Fresno may know that Route 38 strictly operates specially wrapped "FAX15 buses". These buses were built from 2016-2017 by Gillig, a bus manufacturer based out of Livermore, California, previously out of Hayward, California. Although rare, on occasion some non-FAX15 buses can be seen operating. These buses usually tend to be older buses that are a part of the spare fleet, also known as older buses that are getting ready for retirement, but are still suited for revenue service. On this day, on two trips, two 2006 New Flyer C40LFR buses, 0606 and 0608 respectively, have been filling in for regular buses on the 38. Bus 0608, which is shown in the video, tends to be my personal favorite due to the fact that it is one of two 2006 C40LFRs that still has audible announcements, as most of the other C40LFRs have muffled announcements that are almost impossible to hear. Sometimes it is possible to hear them, but the announcements would just cut off every second for some reason. But they're old buses so I don't blame them.
