Fresno FAX 2005 New Flyer C40LF (0508) Full Ride

Back in 2022, I uploaded an audio recording of 0508 that did pretty well, not terribly good but not terribly bad. Last year I uploaded a video onboard 0508 that got over 800 views. 6 months ago I uploaded a video onboard 0510 that blew up and got 1,000 views. A lot of people seem to like these buses since they keep on blowing up so I thought I'd do another one onboard 0508, the one that started it all (this little miniseries on my channel). 0508 recently returned to service after a lengthy absence, and has since been subbing for various buses on various routes, primarily routes 28, 34, and 45, all of which see subs on a regular basis due to those routes running proterra electric buses, which have all been out of service for several months due to unknown reasons. Despite this, they will occasionally be seen on some routes that do not have proterras, such as Route 9 on March 25th, which was the first day that 0508 returned to service, and on this particular day, Route 22. As I've said many times before, their retirement is clearly imminent, as these buses are the only buses in the fleet without Wi-Fi, and also spark "DEADLINE" depot slots, which are also seen on buses 0601, 0602, 0603, and 0605 (0604 still has an assigned depot slot). They also still have COVID-19 P/R announcements, although, for some reason, 0508 has the up-to-date WiFi announcements, even though it doesn't even have WiFi to begin with. If you listen closely at some points in the video, although it is hard to tell, you can hear the WiFi announcements. Other than that, these buses still sound like beasts, although they are showing signs of weakening, since they are reaching almost two decades in service.
