With almost three centuries of history, this farm is a true heritage of the Brazilian colonial period. Surrounded by native forest, a beautiful lagoon, and preserved 18th-century buildings, it keeps alive the memory of the old farms that fueled the region's development during Colonial Brazil. Throughout the video, we show details of the original architecture, the old stone walls erected with slave labor, and recount the history of the different owners who marked the history of the Água Limpa Farm. Although many people associate its origin with the *Baron of Queluz**, historical documentation shows that he **was not the founder of the farm**. Joaquim Lourenço Baêta Neves, who received the title of Baron of Queluz in the 19th century, acquired the property many years later. Records from **1758* already mentioned the Água Limpa Farm, when the couple *Manoel de Sá Tinoco* and *Úrsula das Virgens do Sacramento* appeared as the farm's owner during the construction of the Santo Antônio Chapel, indicating that its foundation occurred decades earlier. You will also learn stories about slavery on the property, the old paths traveled by enslaved people, and the importance of the farm to the historical formation of the Inconfidentes region. If you enjoy Brazilian history, centuries-old farms, colonial architecture, the Estrada Real (Royal Road), and historical heritage, this video will show you a little-known part of Minas Gerais' history. 📍 Location: Água Limpa Farm – Conselheiro Lafaiete – Minas Gerais If you liked this content, please like, subscribe to the channel, and share this video.
