The program offers a diverse range of activities: On the one hand, attractive group activities are organized, such as trips to the forest, a scavenger hunt, or a disco. On the other hand, there is ample opportunity to get to know each other through free, self-directed play: while cycling, crafting, or playing in the sandbox. The inclusive holiday program is open for two weeks. It is supported by a broad network of organizations, including insieme Schaffhausen, pro infirmis, Vereinigung Cerebral Schaffhausen, special needs schools in Schaffhausen, and the city of Schaffhausen. Jürg Sauter, president of the special needs school board in the canton of Schaffhausen, is proud of this pioneering achievement: "Instead of creating their own program, everyone is working together!" The video explains further factors contributing to the program's success. Parents and children also speak enthusiastically about the wonderful program. Sixth-grader Aymen describes his experiences with peers with disabilities: "I've realized that they actually function quite normally. And sometimes it's almost more fun with them than with someone else." All 13 participating cantons and the Principality of Liechtenstein are on the path to a school for all.
