Testing 1950s Racing Tips with Sim Racing

Taking a look at a favorite book of mine, a 1950s guide on "How to be a racing driver" by Grand Prix ace Piero Taruffi. This book is a wonderful insight to what it took to be a driver in the 1950s and is most likely the first book of its type. With information about physical fitness, basic driving controls, calculating the Apex, racecraft and general survival - its a rare insight into the mind of a 50s racing driver. So what can we learn from this book to apply to historic Sim Racing?
