Japan's 200mph Corkscrew - Fuji Speedway - Assetto Corsa
Fuji International Speedway may be most famously remembered for its Monsoon soaked 1976 Formula 1 decider, but the circuit's early history may be even more impressive. Originally envisioned as a 2.5 mile oval to bring NASCAR to Japan, the circuit's construction started with a massive banked turn. After funding fell through due to rising costs constructing the oval on the difficult landscape, the plans for an oval were scrapped and a road circuit was built in its place. Incorporating the already constructed banked corner, it was dubbed the Daiichi. The Daiichi corner has been forgotten today, but through the power of Simulators we can experience the terrifying drop once again! Track: https://www.racedepartment.com/downlo...
