First test drive - BMW E36 with Volvo T5 Turbo engine swap

TB and I bought yet another e36. This time without engine but with alot of carbon fiber and plastic. The rear fenders were also widened since the previous owner had mounted large slicks on it and competed in dragracing. First plan was to mount an N54 in the car, but then a five cylinder NA volvo engine crossed our path way too cheap. TB didn't need much to convince me that we of course should mount a volvo engine in this e36. Especially since many people here in Sweden do the opposite and swap BMW engines into their old Volvos. The E36 is now running a turbo converted five cylinder Volvo T5 engine with a Garrett TA34 turbo, a re-welded ZF gearbox from a BMW 330 and a rear axle from a BMW E34. Since all the carbon fiber and plastics make the car very light it is fast now even though we only have ~400hp in it at the moment. Stay tuned for next run in the Dyno =)
