Dragon Age 4 Veilguard's villain is a cheap rip-off of Corypheus
BioWare copied themselves in Dragon Age 4 Veilguard Elgar'nan and Corypheus share many similarities such as their arrogance and their evil and their aspiration to godhood. Although these are common characteristics of media villains, the way BioWare does it makes it painfully obvious that Elgar'nan was a direct copy of Corypheus in terms of characterization. That being said, Corypheus was a better written villain than Elgar'nan. Corypheus speaks like an ancient being while Elgar'nan speaks in a very modern and easily understood way. Corypheus's intention also has much more depth than Elgar'nan's. These all make Elgar'nan look like a villain written for children. Patreon: / anbeegod
