FE Curse of Lagdou: 24 ORIGINAL Songs for the Romhack (Wave 1)

My first serious attempt into making original compositions, inspired by soundtracks like Deltarune, FTL, Triangle Strategy, the Fire Emblem series (obviously), and bits and pieces of many other more obscure things. These are all songs that are in the current version of the game and play in various maps and cutscenes. I wanted this hack's music to pull more weight in terms of telling the story of Jeanne and Isabelle, which I found to be very moving(the ending made me cry really hard). It was frankly, the only part of the hack that kept it from being legendary to me. So I said, fine. I'll do it myself. I had a strong focus on interesting melodies that develop over the course of a song, so then not to get boring or monotonous after looping a number of times. I also wanted to use repeating motifs to connect various story moments and characters without having it become repetitive. If I can toot my own horn a little, I think I did a pretty damn good job of it. If you're interesting in some of those more obscure inspirations, Chroma Squad, Scarlet Hollow, Slay the Princess, Anomaly Collapse, Cthulhu Saves the World, Bug Fables, Live a Live, and especially Spiritfarer all have soundtracks that stuck with me long after I finished playing, and I can see how they influenced how I make music in subtle ways. I've got more in the works! A few more CoL songs I couldn't get done in time for the 2.0 release for FEE3, that will be released in Wave 2. No time frame sadly, just "when they're done". I've been bouncing between a bunch of different projects when I should just stick to one. If all goes to plan, I should I have a new video ready for Friday of next week.
