Model Railway Eighteen Coach Platforms, Suburban, Express, Bogie Bolsters Steel loads, Real Skies

This video is based around four trains on the lower level of Trenholme Junction and particularly at the Main Station. Five of the platform faces on the station can accommodate eighteen coach trains. The size was designed so that the layout could take a train in proportions to Darlington Bank top station. A suburban train is first to call and is videoed from north to south in two parts. The final express which runs south to north is a single shot from the north end of the station looking through the canopy and picks out the train before it enters the south end of the station. A camera test, showing the excellent depth of field of this new piece of equipment. In between the passenger trains, two trains of Bogie Bolster wagons, one loaded coming from the steelworks the other returning empty. Typical of the movements in the Teesside area in the 1960's.
