The ecologiQ Innovation Showcase series gives industry and their research partners the chance to pitch ideas and products to a panel of senior Victorian Government and senior industry leaders and experts. To move to a circular economy we must find new uses and solutions to reuse, repurpose and repair - diverting waste from landfill and using Victoria’s Big Build as a catalyst for new markets. Presenter line-up: Flagworld: Flagworld's 100% recyclable Sustaina Fence Wrap is an alternative to unrecyclable gawk screens. By partnering with BlockTexx, Sustaina Fence Wrap can be recycled back into rPET used in Australian manufacturing.Flagworld work with OC Connections, a Victorian Social Enterprise, to install, take down and de-commission fence wraps for recycling. Woodshield: Woodshield fenceposts use chemical free timber fully encased in recycled Agri-waste plastic, and are recyclable at end of life. Current uses include vineyards, farm fencing, bollards, playgrounds, aquaculture infrastructure and orchards. They can be installed using standard methods, comply with OH&S handling, can be used in and around water including saltwater and are made locally in Victoria. Ecosphere: Ecosphere is a leading provider of construction services, specializing in mobile contract crushing and screening. Ecosphere reuses excess material from civil developments through onsite crushing and screening, reducing CO2 emissions, reliance on virgin quarries and truck movements.
