Buton Police Public Relations – To commemorate the 80th Bhayangkara Day in 2026, the Buton Police, along with police sub-district officers, conducted community service and religious services at several locations within the Buton Police jurisdiction on Friday (June 12, 2026). The activities involved personnel from the Buton Police, police sub-district officers, the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), local government officials, Bhayangkari (community health workers), and the local community. One of the community service activities was centered in the Kali Biru tourist area in Banabungi Village, Pasarwajo District, Buton Regency. The event was led by Buton Deputy Police Chief, Commissioner Yulianus, S.Si., and attended by senior officials from the Buton Police, personnel from the Pasarwajo Military Command (Koramil 1413-02), the Buton Regency Public Works and Housing Agency, the Buton Regency Environmental Agency, the Pasarwajo Sub-district Head, the Banabungi Village Head, Bhayangkari from the Buton Police, and the Banabungi Village community. During the activity, participants cleaned up trash in tourist areas, public roads, and public facilities, trimmed grass and weeds, and organized the environment to keep it clean, tidy, and comfortable for the community and visitors. Meanwhile, in Sampolawa District, a community service activity was held at the Wandoke Bridge in Gunung Sejuk Village, South Buton Regency. Led by Sampolawa Police Chief, First Inspector Kardi, SH, the activity involved Sampolawa Police personnel, village officials, sub-district government officials, and the local community. The activity focused on clearing trash clogging the bridge's underpass, cutting grass and undergrowth around the bridge, and clearing soil and sand that had accumulated on the road after rain. These measures were taken to prevent flooding and to ensure security, safety, order, and smooth traffic flow. In addition to the community service activity, the Buton Police and its sub-district police also conducted a religious service through a mutual cooperation activity to clean places of worship. In Sampolawa District, the activity took place at the Habluminallah Mosque in Gunung Sejuk Village and was led by Sampolawa Police Chief, First Inspector Kardi, SH, along with police personnel and mosque administrators. The activity included cleaning the interior of the mosque, sweeping and mopping the floors, cleaning carpets and prayer rugs, and cleaning the courtyard, ablution area, toilets, glass, ventilation, and walls of the mosque to ensure it remains clean and comfortable for worshippers. A similar activity was also held at the Nurul Al-Ikhlas Mosque in the Pasar Timur neighborhood, Lakambau Village, Batauga District, South Buton Regency. The religious service was led by Batauga Police Chief, First Inspector Abdul Rahman, along with Batauga Police personnel and mosque administrators. Through this mutual cooperation activity, police personnel and the community cleaned the entire mosque area, from the main prayer hall, courtyard, sanitation facilities, to the glass and walls of the mosque, to create a clean, healthy, and comfortable worship environment. The entire series of social service and religious service activities commemorating the 80th Bhayangkara Day concluded at 11:30 a.m. WITA (Central Indonesian Time) and proceeded in a safe, orderly, and conducive atmosphere. The Buton Police Chief stated that these social service and religious service activities demonstrated the National Police's commitment to the environment and the community. Furthermore, these activities served as a means to strengthen harmonious relations, increase public trust, and strengthen synergy between the National Police and all elements of society. In the spirit of the 80th Bhayangkara Day, the Buton Police remain committed to providing the best service and realizing the vision of "The National Police for the Community," by being directly present in the community as a form of devotion to the nation and state.
