1978 Honda ATC 90 Full Restoration - Part 1

Well folks it's time for another BIG restoration project :) This time i have set my sights on this 1978 Honda ATC ( All Terrain Cycle ) 90cc . I bought this bike as a barn find that hasn't seen the light of day for the past 20 years. In this restoration just like all my other restorations i will be going through every part of the ATC repairing and restoring it all back to factory fresh. So the first thing to do in this episode was a quick visual inspection and a quick turn over of the engine to make sure there are no major issues that would make the restoration of this trike unfeasible and im pleased to say that apart from a few missing and rusted out parts the ATC looks in good enough shape to be saved. I then set about removing the panels, this was easy enough as there is only two panels excluding the front mud guard as its missing. Once the panels were off i could start removing mechanical parts, starting with the light, bars and basically working my way from the top down. Once all the easy parts were removed i set my sights on the harder parts like the chain tensioner that had been welded on and the seized on axle nuts which all surrendered after a bit of negotiation with the burning gear, angle grinder and several hammers and chisels. Soon enough the bike was in component form and ready for its transformation to begin. As mentioned in the video the chrome is in terrible condition and if you can recommend a good chroming company id appreciate it.
