Lawyer Danstan Omari has called for Kenya to consider banning Ugandan advocates from practicing in the country following the controversial denial of entry to Senior Counsel Martha Karua in Uganda. Omari argues that while Kenya allows lawyers from East African Community member states to practice locally, Kenyan advocates continue to face restrictions when seeking audience in courts across the region.
