This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. "From Idea to Social Entrepreneurship" She began her academic training at the Faculty of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences but later switched to Fine Arts. She graduated with a degree in Visual Arts and taught ceramics and visual arts workshops. She developed two models of filtration systems to purify microbiologically contaminated water, which were selected in competitions such as: INNOVAR, Seed Capital (SePyme); and the Mayma Awards. These, in turn, led her to the finals of ImpacTec (Socialab). Currently, the filtration systems project has garnered the support and participation of various institutions, which are promoting its implementation in small communities in northern Argentina on a pro bono basis. About TEDx, x = independently organized event. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
