November 8, 2005 - When a young Ovechkin played in Canada, he often put on a show. It was frequently appointment viewing, and his first visit to the country where hockey reigns supreme was no different. The Great 8 wasted no time with his first tour of Canada being a trip to Toronto, hockey's biggest market. All eyes were on Ovechkin after his 2 goals had powered the Caps to a win over the Leafs in Washington in the first half of the home and home. Ovechkin did not disappoint, with another 2-goal outing to go along with his signature physicality and flair.
