Tomy Turnin' Turbo Dashboard - OutRun & RealDash Conversion

Conversion of a (broken) 1980s Tomy Turnin' Turbo Dashboard toy into an OutRun arcade game with fully customizable digital dashboard from RealDash. This project was inspired by Matt Brailsford (aka Circuitbeard) who was the first person I'm aware of to do something like this. Links to his pages & videos below. Main components used: Original Tomy Turnin' Turbo Dashboard Toy purchased on eBay. Raspberry Pi 3B to run the Cannonball OutRun engine and metrics server. ODroid C2 to run the RealDash Android application. Picade PCB from Pimoroni to handle control inputs & sound. TWO LCD screens. Code! I haven't created an article detailing the construction. Much of it is copied direct from Matt's blog, so check that out if you're curious. Obviously the active dashboard implementation differs considerably though.
