Heroes in History: Nuxia
[PLEASE WATCH TO THE END OF THE VIDEO FOR A FUN MONTAGE I PUT TOGETHER. THIS ONE WAS VERY ENTERTAINING FOR ME] Time to talk about the most underrated, and probably most under appreciated, warrior in For Honor! Nuxia. This one was not easy. Nuxia, like most of the Wu Lin, has very little to work off of in terms of lore. In fact, I'd argue she was treated worse than any other Wu Lin warrior. With all the others, I could at least see SOME reference to a Chinese historical warrior, but with Nuxia, there's quite literally none. Her name literally just means 'female warrior.' But after some careful thought and consideration, I decided to go a little deeper, and based on my own thoughts and perspectives on the character, I am convinced that Nuxia is most likely based on wuxia heroes of Chinese fantasy literature. This Heroes in History will do more than just discuss the Nuxia as a character, but also the literary genre of wuxia and how nuxia might just tie into it. I hope ya'll enjoy!
