Heroes in History: Pirate
Boy was I looking forward to this one. I sunk quite a bit of time and research into making this video. I think I spent more time researching Ching Shih than I did practicing with the Pirate hero. This video is a bit different because I wanted to discuss something I've been hearing a lot: Ever since I predicted that Ching Shih was the inspiration, I've had people on discord and youtube tell me that Ching Shih is overrated and/or that Blackbeard was a better choice for a pirate hero. I've grown quite tired of this as I think that people are seriously overlooking just what Ching Shih did and how effective she was. Blackbeard, by comparison, is rather overrated, in my opinion. But I explain my stance in the video. I also had fun making the meme compilation. I was trying not to make too many PotC memes, and I hope it still worked out alright. I actually had more ideas, but I'd kind of overloaded my PC with footage and images and audio for my projects, so I literally just ran out of space. What can ya do? Anyway, give it a watch and let me know what you think!
