PNGDF Soldiers Confrontation with Police Officers Turns Violent
A group of PNGDF soldiers assaulted NCD Metropolitan Superintendent, Ben Turi and other senior police officers in the NCD Command. The assault was a retaliation by soldiers from the First Royal Pacific Islands Regiment, after one of their members was manhandled by police officers, over his vehicle registration.
