166 PNGDF Recruits Dismissed

The dishonest conduct by certain officers at the Papua New Guinea Defence Force has led to the dismissal of 166 recruits. Close to 400 new recruits were set to undergo intense training at the Goldie Training Depot however those that were recruited fraudulently were let go today. Among them, personnel who had failed their medical tests, others who were past the age of recruitment, some using ghost names and one had tuberculosis.
