Malaysia Airlines MH2634 : Flying from Kuala Lumpur to Labuan

A trip report on Malaysia Airlines' flight MH2634 from Kuala Lumpur. Malaysia Airlines were quite good for this flight and I'd probably fly them again if I had the chance. Labuan is a federal territory of Malaysia and is a very small island located right next to the huge island of Borneo. Labuan airport, at the time, had 17x flights weekly between Kuala Lumpur on Malaysia Airlines. This flight was flown in December 2013. Scheduled flying time for this sector is 2 hrs and 25 min, with actual flying time being close to 2 hrs and 15 min. Scheduled departure time was 11:45 am while scheduled arrival time was 02:10 pm in the afternoon. I'd prebooked seat 20F for a fee on Malaysia Airlines' website. The aircraft for this flight was a 20 year old Boeing 737-400, which has since been retired from MH's fleet along with all the other 734s, registered 9M-MQB. It was an enjoyable two hours, with the view outside the window being spectacular. I'd recommend this route to anyone wishing a route filled with amazing sights. Fares for this route were 13K INR on a triangular routing between Labuan, another city in Borneo, and Kuala Lumpur. Seat 8/10 IFE 5/10 Meal 8.5/10 Crew 6.5/10 Overall experience rating : 7.0/10 Malaysian clearly need a bit of improvement, but I'd recommend flying Malaysia Airlines for being quite the affordable and decent carrier.
