Where did Kaspar Hauser come from? In May 1828, a 16-year-old boy appeared on a Nuremberg street. He barely uttered his name and added that he wanted to be a soldier for his country. He moved clumsily, and his skin was so smooth, white, and soft that it seemed he had never exercised or been exposed to the sun. The soles of his feet betrayed the fact that he had never walked. When he was taken to the police station, he said his name was Kaspar Hauser. In two letters (written on two strange pieces of paper that looked more like thin, whitish skin) that he handed to the authorities, the first stated that he was the son of a soldier in the Sixth Cavalry Regiment. The second stated that he had been raised by a shoemaker who had ten children and therefore could no longer care for the boy. Little by little, the doctor Gustav Daumer taught him to speak, to move around without tripping over everything in his path, to eat, and to develop other skills that allowed him to get a job. However, his origins remained a mystery, and a rumor then spread that he was presumably the illegitimate son of Duke Karl of Baden, ruler of the region, who preferred to abandon him (on the very day of his birth) and leave him in the care of the shoemaker in question. Because it had no basis, this theory was dismissed, and the possibility that he was an interdimensional traveler or someone from outer space was then raised. According to his own words, Kaspar Hauser never knew where he came from because his entire life he was confined in darkness in a narrow space. Without any threat, on December 11, 1833, he was murdered in a park in the town of Ansbach, Bavaria, where he had been summoned by an unknown person who supposedly wanted to tell him the truth about his life and origins. Why and who murdered him? Could it be the Men in Black? And if so, what terrible knowledge or secret did Kaspar Hauser keep? So...logical?
