His Only Son Was Left Behind in Pakistan | Now His Daughters Feed the Family | HSF

Arjun Ram Ji and Komal Behan came to India two years ago with five young daughters, hoping for a safer future. But life has remained a daily struggle. Arjun Ram Ji suffers from serious health problems including high blood pressure, swollen joints, and difficulty walking. Unable to work regularly, he watches helplessly as his two elder daughters—still minors—go out to work in the fields, plucking vegetables and doing labor work to support the family. Their mother also works whenever her health permits. The family's only son was unable to obtain a visa and remains in Pakistan. Three more daughters are also separated from the family, with one still living in Pakistan. Today, their greatest wish is simple: a secure home, some livelihood support, and the opportunity to reunite with their son so he can help care for the family.
