Cohort event monitoring and infrastructural readiness

Gianluca Trifirò from University of Verona chairs a session all about challenges and opportunities with cohort event monitoring. Starting with an introduction, the mic is then passed to Florence van Hunsel (LAREB) who speaks about LIM cohort event monitoring, followed by a presentation by Nicoletta Luxi (University of Verona) about special bohorts and boosters, and finally a panel discussion about the implications of cohort event monitoring on public health, regulators, and overall infrastructural readiness, with panelists Catherine Cohet (EMA), Nicolas Thurin (University of Bordeaux), and Joost Schotsman (UMC Utrecht). On the 10th of October, 2023, members of the Covid Vaccine Monitor (CVM) consortium met in Utrecht, the Netherlands, for the closing event of the project. The purpose of the meeting was to reflect on the different methodologies and frameworks used throughout the project, and ultimately discuss the future of vaccine safety methodology. The event was aptly titled ‘Lessons Learned about the Methods of Monitoring Covid Vaccine Safety.’ This video is part of a series to disseminate the valuable and insightful content from this meeting. 👉 Gianluca Trifirò's introductory slides: https://vac4eu.org/cvm-slides_22_cem-intro/ 👉 Florence van Hunsel's slides: https://vac4eu.org/cvm-slides_23_lim-cem/ 👉 Nicoletta Luxi's slides: https://vac4eu.org/cvm-slides_24-cem-speci... 👉 Learn more about the CVM project: https://vac4eu.org/CVM-project 👉 Follow us on LinkedIn: https://nl.linkedin.com/company/vac4eu 👉 Check out our Zenodo community: https://zenodo.org/communities/vac4eu/
