Film de capitalisation du projet SIIL (Laboratoire d'Innovation pour l'Intensification Durable)
The Innovation Lab for Sustainable Intensification (SIIL), funded by USAID and coordinated by Kansas State University (KSU), has been working in Senegal since 2016. SIIL aims to become a global leader in interdisciplinary research, knowledge sharing, and capacity building for sustainable intensification. Its goal is to improve global food and nutrition security by increasing sustainable food production and reducing poverty and hunger. The program focuses on several key areas: increasing the production of nutritious food, involving and empowering women in agricultural production, and preventing food loss and waste. This is a resolutely committed approach to improving the living conditions of smallholder farmers and promoting environmental sustainability. This film chronicles the two phases of its work in Senegal, from 2016 to 2024.
