When nonuniform sampling meets instantaneous Nyquist rate in time-frequency analysis
This is session 25 of "Nonstationary Time Series Analysis with Modern Signal Processing Techniques Part 1", delivered in 2025 summer. In this session we discuss the impact of nonuniform sampling, which is very commonly encountered in biomedical signal processing. The notion of instantaneous Nyquist rate/frequency and instantaneous frequency/sampling rate, and how spline interpolation generates potential reflection artifacts, are discussed. Other sessions of this series of lectures can be found in this channel. If you like the material, please subscribe & thumb up. Comments are appreciated. Thank you! Comments are appreciated.
