Project Hail Mary's "Science Mistakes"
I think the reason the centrifuge triggers us is interesting...it isn't about incorrect math or the bizarre ways gravity works off Earth, it's a procedural mistake. This puts it in a very different category...it's "I have this insider knowledge and so would this character" and that makes it pop in your brain in the way that "wouldn't the high pressure of Rocky's environment push out on his little maleable bubble" doesn't. It's even more in your face than "there's no way an orange traffic cone would be allowed on the surface of an aircraft carrier" because it isn't just part of the environment, it's a decision a character is making that we just don't think he'd make. And this is weird because, of course, it does not affect the plot at all...or the physics...or the environment. It is 100% inconsequential...which makes it...fun. It's just a "you and I...we know a thing together" kind of thing.
