Crowds gather to see Union Pacific's Big Boy as it arrives in Pleasant Hill and Kansas City

A huge and historic train rolled into the Kansas City metro on Tuesday, drawing in hundreds of spectators. Union Pacific's Big Boy No. 4014 is the world's largest operating steam locomotive. Measuring in at 600 tons and 133 feet long, the train's grandeur has attracted visitors for years. Big Boy left Jefferson City early Tuesday, traveling to Kansas City, Missouri.
