I do also have Instagram and Facebook if you prefer to connect there: 🌿 Instagram   / jessica.and.the.moon  🌿 Facebook   / jessicaandthemoon  There are a lot of books on witchcraft out there. This video is kind of a witchcraft book anti haul. I’m going to show you 5 Witchcraft Books I Regret Buying, and explain my reasons. Fair warning, some of you might find this video a little blasphemous because my list includes at least two books from very well-thought of and recommended authors. Making a more “negative” video is hard for me - I generally tend to find the best and usable parts in everything - but I’m forcing myself to go there because I want to move the conversation around witchcraft books on a little bit. We are in the 2020s now and I still see so many books from the 1990s and 2000s being recommended to beginner witches. And I don’t think these are necessarily still the best books for beginners, or for anyone, honestly. I feel like I have a responsibility as an older witch who has been practising a long time, to make good recommendations to people newer to the craft. Obviously everything I share here is my own opinion and if you love these books then I have no issue with that, feel free to let me know in the comments if you think I’m way off base. I’m on a magical, healing adventure with journaling, tarot, astrology, and creative self discovery. Here I share the tools, inspiration, and resources I gather along my path of deepening self-awareness and connection with All That Is. My intention for this channel is for it to be a soothing and sacred space which meets you where you are on your journey of creative exploration and spiritual connection; a place where you can come to find ideas and inspiration - gathered over my decades of journaling, witchery, and working with the cards - to help you to weave your own authentic and life affirming practices. Practices which are rooted in a deeper understanding of this world as a place where magic is real, and where we can work with our own stories to weave what happens next. I would love for you to come along on this journey with me.
