3 PRÁTICAS PARA TER MAIS AUTOCONFIANÇA

In 1969, American psychologist Nathaniel Branden published the book The Psychology of Self-Esteem. He states that most of the mental and emotional problems we face are related to our low self-esteem. In his view, the more we reinforce someone's self-esteem, the greater the chances of that person performing better in life, and that raising self-esteem could even cure certain diseases. Many studies have been conducted to investigate the relationships between success, self-confidence and self-esteem. Do people with good self-esteem have greater self-confidence? Do people with greater self-confidence achieve greater success? Let's take a look. Self-confidence is impacted by several factors such as genetics, lived experiences and the choices we make. Let's take a look: Our genetic background influences the neurochemical functioning of our brain. This affects our moods and certain behavioral predispositions such as the tendency towards anxiety and depression. Our experiences include the experiences we have had with our family, friends, teachers, all the pressures we have endured and the solutions we have found for each of them. Finally, our choices are the things we do now, the risks we take, how we think and react to the difficulties we face. --------------------------------------- Suggested works Texts: “Confidence” (Psychology Today) “What is Self-Confidence? + 9 Ways to Increase It” by Courtney E.
