Что делает человек, когда ничего не получается

Why do some people become angry after failure, others give up, and still others try to find a new path? In this lecture, Valery Viktorovich Petukhov examines five psychological reactions to the inability to achieve a goal. In psychology, this state is called frustration—the emotional tension that arises when a person encounters a barrier to achieving a desired result. Based on Tamara Dembo's experiments and research related to Gestalt psychology and Kurt Lewin's school, the main human responses are examined: • Aggression—when tension turns into anger and blame. • Regression—a return to simpler forms of behavior. • Withdrawal—abandoning the goal and attempting to explain away one's failure. • Substitution—searching for another goal, similar in meaning or complexity. • Fantasizing—changing one's attitude toward an obstacle through imagination. Why do some people seek new solutions after failure, while others begin to avoid difficulties or direct their frustration toward others? Understanding the mechanisms of frustration helps us better understand the hidden causes of human behavior. Lecture: Valery Viktorovich Petukhov - Psychology of Personality and Human Behavior.
