A few months ago, I visited the villages of Beşikkaya and Kayabalı in the Ömerli district of Mardin and filmed farmers hoeing in potato fields. That day, we witnessed the labor invested in the soil. This time, I returned to those same fields during the busiest days of the harvest season. Work begins before sunrise, at 2:00 AM... Hours of arduous work under the sun... And the stories of the people behind this labor... In this documentary-style video, I tried to record not only the potato harvest but also the lives of the people who make their living from the land, the difficulties of production, and the value of hard work.
