Pacific Crest Trail, Pinchot Pass to Mather Pass, Sierra Nevada. Day 56, Mile 807.6-825.7. Not a vlog. No talking, no music, no narration. Just visuals and sounds from the trail. Pretty sure this is Dwarf alpine Indian paintbrush (Castilleja nana) 00:16:54 - View of Palisade Lakes. 00:19:05 - Purple mountain heather and Brewer's mountain heather (Phyllodoce breweri) 00:19:16 - Western Columbine (Aquilegia formosa) 00:19:29 - A classic U-shaped glacier valley. Not sure of this canyon's name, but it has Palisade Creek running down it.
