PCT · Mile 826-832 · Le Conte Canyon to Bishop Pass (No Talking)

Pacific Crest Trail, Le Conte Canyon to Bishop Pass, Sierra Nevada. Day 57, Mile 825.7 to 832.2. Not a vlog. No talking, no music, no narration. Just visuals and sounds from the trail. Filmed July 1, 2025. Posted July 1, 2026. One year to the day. -------- Chapters & Trail notes (on-screen timestamps): 00:00:00 - Start of day. 00:02:05 - Mile 828.5 00:03:37 - Mile 830, the big meadow at Le Conte Canyon. 00:05:10 - Mile 832.2, Le Conte Canyon Ranger Station (I managed to really creep out the banjo playing ranger, when she stepped out to see me, just watching, standing there silently, watching her cool cabin & listening to her play. Sorry.) 00:05:56 - Crossing the stream from Dusy Basin. That's some damage. 00:06:06 - I think a Sierra stonecrop (Sedum obtusatum), a succulent native to the Sierra Nevada mountains. 00:06:40 - John Muir Trail sign. 00:06:51 - Off the PCT, but the view from Bishop Pass, north. That’s Bishop & Saddlerock Lakes below. --------- Field-recorded trail audio. Edited for clarity. Headphones recommended. The full 2,655-mile series posts year-to-the-day through September 2026 (Well, hopefully, assuming I survive). #PacificCrestTrail #PCT #NoTalkingNoMusic #AmbientHiking #SoloHiking #ThruHike
