I document sound before it disappears. I preserve context in a time of noise. I save the culture not just the music. If it needs to be louder, it needs to be preserved. Enrico Sangiuliano is an Italian DJ, producer, performer and sound designer born in Reggio Emilia, Italy. He became involved in electronic music during the 1990s, initially as a DJ within the Italian underground rave scene and later as a producer and sound engineer. Throughout the late 2000s and early 2010s, Sangiuliano become internationally recognized thanks this his production on several internationals labels and after being in the Drumcode team. In 2022 he launched NINETOZERO, a time-limited record label conceived as a temporary artistic project. The label became a platform for exploring concepts related to sound design, storytelling and the relationship between music and time, while also leading to the development of the SOLO event series. Still active today, Enrico Sangiuliano continues to perform internationally as a DJ and live performer while developing music through NINETOZERO and other artistic projects. TOFFLER is an underground house and techno club located in the centre of Rotterdam, Netherlands. The club opened in 2010 and is situated inside a former pedestrian tunnel beneath the Weena, just a short walk from Rotterdam Central Station. Its name is inspired by the futurist writer Alvin Toffler, whose ideas about technology and social change influenced the club's original concept. One of TOFFLER's most distinctive characteristics is its unusual location. The venue occupies a long underground tunnel with a low ceiling, creating an intimate atmosphere and a close connection between DJs and the crowd. The club also became known for its LED lighting installation running throughout the tunnel and for its strong focus on sound quality. During the 2010s, the club became one of the most recognizable electronic music venues in Rotterdam and an important part of the city's nightlife culture. Unlike many large-scale venues, TOFFLER built its reputation around a relatively compact underground space, focusing on club culture rather than large commercial productions. The club remains active today and continues to host house and techno events in its original underground location. This set has a very dark techno soul with many melodic parts that express a new way of making techno that is properly of the last decade.
