Robag Wruhme at IglooFest - Montreal 28/01/2010 - Minimal House Music

Robag Wruhme at IglooFest - Montreal CAN 28/01/2010 - Dj Set Minimal, Microhouse, House Music. ask Seb is an independent, non-profit archive dedicated to underground electronic music. I document sound before it disappears. I preserve context in a time of noise. I save the culture not just the music. If it needs to be louder, it needs to be preserved. Robag Wruhme is the stage name of German DJ and producer Gabor Schablitzki, born in Rudolstadt, East Germany, in 1974 and later based in Jena. Robag became active as a DJ during the 1990s and, together with Sören Bodner (Monkey Maffia, RIP), formed the duo Wighnomy Brothers in 1997. Together they became some of the most recognizable figures associated with the German minimal and microhouse scene of the 2000s because they shaped and changed the sound of electronic music during those years by introducing new sounds and new musical structures that strongly defined the raw sound of WB. In 1998, the Wighnomy Brothers were involved in the creation of the label Freude am Tanzen, which later became one of the most influential independent labels connected to the German minimal and house scene. In parallel with the WB project, Robag Wruhme developed a solo career, and the first releases under the Robag Wruhme alias appeared in 2002. His debut album, Wuzzelbud "KK" (2004), was something absolutely stunning that defined an entire decade of minimal techno. After the end of the Wighnomy Brothers project in 2009, Robag focused primarily on his solo career and, in 2021, he launched the label Tulpa Ovi, adding label management to his activities as a DJ and producer. He remains active internationally today and is respected for his strong contribution to the European minimal techno scene of the first decade of the 21st century. Igloofest is an electronic music festival held annually in Montréal, Canada, at the Old Port of Montréal. The festival was founded in 2007 by the team behind Piknic Électronik and was conceived as a winter counterpart to Montréal's summer electronic music events. Its defining characteristic is its outdoor setting during the Canadian winter, with performances taking place despite temperatures that often fall well below freezing. One of the festival's distinctive elements is the combination of large-scale stage production, winter-themed installations and outdoor dancefloors specifically designed for cold-weather conditions. Today, Igloofest continues to operate and remains one of the best-known winter electronic music festivals in the world. This set is a perfect combination of different genres all mixed together into a deep and soulful electronic sound. Minimal, techno, classic house, deep house, industrial and natural sounds all come together to create a set that gently drives you for two hours through different feelings and sensations, but always in a positive way. All the art of Robag is fully expressed in this set. for support my project: https://buy.stripe.com/test_8x2fZgeU7... https://ko-fi.com/askseb https://liberapay.com/askSeb/ https://buymeacoffee.com/askseb Every contribution is reinvested into the archive.
