A Solo Wild Camp with Darwin and the Ice Mans Knife

After Storm Dave sent the temperatures plummeting in the Cheviots, Darwin and I headed for the shelter of a hidden Northumberland valley for a solo wild camp. The best pitch was unfortunately near a gigantic wood ant nest, but I decided to chance it. I tested out my new knife, inspired by Ötzi the Iceman (the 5,000-year-old Neolithic traveler), and enjoyed some Tuscan herb bangers in a stottie: classic To settle down I listened to a history podcast about Britain's first dogs—the perfect thing to listen to while hunkered down in a tent with my own wolf. Perfect: except when Darwin stinks the tent out. And of course, a terrible Dad joke to end the trip........ A huge thank you to everyone who supported the channel this month with a coffee! It really helps keep these adventures going. All the best and thank you for reading this far! Graham 🙏 00:00 Bigfoot!
