EasyStart Pro Diagnostic Tool | An Introduction

This video will explain how to use the EasyStart Pro Diagnostic tool, which is a quite useful tool to read and delete heater fault codes, including unlocking a locked heater ECU.   This tool can connect on the diagnostic connector of CAN Bus based heaters, such as Airtronic 2nd and 3rd generations, Hydronic S3 (3rd gen.) and Hydronic L3 (3rd gen.).   In practice it has the same functions of the EasyStart Pro controller, so it is useful in applications where the EasyStart Pro controller is no used, nor other digital controller able to pull and delete codes, which is a common situation specially on Hydronic heater applications.   This tool does not replace the EasyScan for a complete diagnostic procedure, but it is an alternative for a quick and simple diagnostic, especially for unlocking a heater ECU due to multiple no start or overheating events.
