Fuel Priming: o Before use, the fuel lines must be primed. Over-priming can lead to excess fuel in the exhaust, potentially causing excessive smoke. o Preferred priming method: Use the touchscreen priming function to carefully monitor the process. o Alternative method: Activate the heater by selecting diesel or gasoline heat source, though this is slower and might trigger fault codes that need clearing. o Warning: Do not prime the fuel lines by pressurizing the tank, as this is not an approved method. 3. System Preparation: o Ensure the coolant system is filled with the correct fluid mix and purged of air bubbles following the installation manual. o The freshwater system must also be filled and lines purged before activating the hot water function. Set the maximum water temperature using the thermostatic mixing valve when the coolant reaches operating temperature. 4. Component Checks: o Pump Activation: Check for audible sound and vibrations as indicators of proper functioning. o Heater Activation: Select the hydronic heater as the heat source and observe a rise in coolant temperature. The heater will modulate output to maintain temperature. o Fan Check: Manually adjust fan speed on the touchscreen:  High Speed: Both fans in each heat exchanger should run at full speed.  Medium Speed: Both fans run at low speed.  Low Speed: One fan per unit runs at low speed. o Electric Heating: Activate as a heat source and monitor the rise in coolant temperature. The electric heater automatically turns off at maximum temperature and resumes when the temperature drops.
