July 12, 2026, Combined Worship Service at Second Baptist Church of Suffield, CT

Welcome to our Worship Service for Sunday, July 12, 2026, the seventh Sunday after Pentecost, at Second Baptist Church of Suffield. For the month July we are holding combined services with our neighbors from First Church of Christ Congregational UCC and West Suffield Congregational Church. Preaching today is the Interim Pastor from Second Baptist, Rev. James Leavitt. His sermon, “What Do We Sow?” is based on two scripture passages: Isaiah 55:10-13 from the Old Testament and Matthew 13:24-30 from the New Testament. The Prelude this morning, "A Litany for Peace" by Broughton, is being played by Organist Jean Aldrich-Jones. This morning's Anthem and Postlude are being provided by Kristen Flanagan, Piano and Kyle Ransom, Tenor. Their Anthem is is “En Prière" by Fauré, and their Postlude is “If With All Your Hearts” by Mendelssohn. The Children's Message today will be provided by Sue Schneller, Director of Christian Education and the Worship Leader is David Jones.
