The VFC MP5K Is Here — And It Might Beat My MP5 A5

NO REAL FIREARMS ARE SHOWN IN THIS VIDEO — ONLY AIRSOFT TOYS. I ordered the VFC MP5K from Red Wolf Airsoft on a Saturday and had it in my hands by Wednesday. Three days from Hong Kong to LA. I couldn't even wait to get home before opening it — I cracked the box at Battle Lab and used it that same night. If you're deciding between the MP5K and the A5, I've now run both side by side, and I think the K might be my favorite. The MP5K is ridiculously snappy. The short bolt pull, the aggressive recoil, and the compact size make it an absolute beast for CQB. I ran it completely stock at Battle Lab and it performed beautifully. Chronoed at around 320 FPS on 0.25g tracer BBs, which puts it at roughly 1.2 joules — perfect for indoor play. The reaction speed when peeking corners is one of the biggest advantages. It's so short and quick to shoulder that I was consistently getting first shots on target. I also picked up the 5KU MP5K rail for VFC, which adds a full Picatinny rail on top and M-Lok up front. That'll be going on in a build video coming soon. The second part of the unboxing is two VFC M249 gas box mags. At $120 each from Red Wolf, they were half of what I paid at Evike previously. My plan is to carry three of these compact gas reservoirs and swap between them as they cool down, instead of running HPA with a line.
