Title: Drilling Machine: Main Operations Description: Select the most suitable tools for each operation. Select the cutting conditions for each operation. Perform the most important operations on the drilling machine. Peydró Rasero, MÁ.; Juárez Varón, D.; Crespo Amorós, JE.; Montava Jordà, S. (2023). Drilling Machine: Main Operations. Universitat Politècnica de València. https://riunet.upv.es/handle/10251/19... DER Automatic description: This video shows the seven basic operations that can be performed with a drilling machine. First, center and drill the workpiece using a drill bit of the appropriate diameter and cutting speed. Then, redrilling is explained, which consists of enlarging the previous hole with a larger drill bit. The following operation demonstrates countersinking, which removes burrs generated during the drilling process. The fourth operation is countersinking, which creates a conical surface in an existing hole. Next, the countersinking operation is explained; similar to countersinking but with the aim of creating a flat surface. The sixth operation is called countersinking, which is ideal for concealing screw heads. Finally, the reaming operation is shown, which improves the dimensional tolerances and surface finish of a pre-drilled hole. For each operation, the cutting conditions and the steps to follow to obtain precise, high-quality results are explained.
