The Jubilee Tower in Ottakring is one of the most beautiful viewpoints on the outskirts of Vienna. 183 steps lead up above the Vienna Woods – but this tower has much more to tell than just a beautiful view. This video explores the history of the Jubilee Tower: from Emperor Franz Joseph's jubilee to the first wooden tower, which was destroyed, to its surprising predecessor featured in the Jubilee Exhibition at the Prater.
