Landing at Lower Upham | Flying over the HV pylons in a C42 😮
A breezy flight to Sandown on the Isle of Wight with James for a quick drink and to see the numerous aeroplanes there. This is a short video of the return trip back to Lower Upham in their C42, including the interesting approach and S-turns over the HV pylons to arrive at the threshold of the runway at the correct height. James also enquires as to the 'facilities' on board a C42, having drunk too much fizzy orange at Sandown! I've managed to include a moving map for some of this to help viewers orient themselves with where we are. Hope you enjoy it and the rather bumpy landing at Lower Upham over the humps! 00:00 - Fit and ready 00:40 - Climb out and departure 8x speed 02:30 - Is there a bottle...? 03:07 - I can see Bishops Waltham 04:02 - Approaching the field 04:52 - Final Runway 04 Music: bensound.com
