The Normal Distribution (DeSTRESS Film 11)

DeSTRESS films combine live-action explanation and interviews, filmed in a variety of locations, with narrated animations that take the viewer through a worked example. This film uses looks at examples of phenomena that can be modelled with a Normal distribution: these include aircraft capacity, body mass index and the number of people wanting to use a lift. This video has been produced as part of the DeSTRESS project, part of the UK Open Educational Resources programme funded by the HE Academy and the JISC.
